The images here are small thumbnails for efficient web viewing, but the final prints are produced from large, high-resolution digital files without the watermark. I work with a custom print lab that hand produces and reviews each print individually before sending it to you. Each print comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
All images are printed on Hahnemuhle Rag Baryta, a cotton based paper with a smooth semigloss finish and natural color base, free of optical whiteners for increased longevity. It is acid-free and lignin-free and meets the most exacting archival requirements. This is high quality paper and should last a lifetime if cared for properly.

In early October, 2021 I was on my way to Northern California for a few weeks. I took a detour through the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge in Arizona to see this Spiral Labyrinth someone had built adjacent to it. I thought that it would make an awesome foreground for lightning during next year’s monsoon season. Continuing westward later that day, I read about a big lightning storm headed for Southern California, so I detoured to San Diego area and caught some incredible shots before being rained out at 11pm. When I checked the forecast, I saw that the storms would be hitting the labyrinth area, so I drove for four hours back to the site, arriving about 3 a.m. I caught this shot at dawn, just before being forced into the safety of my truck by nearby lightning and pouring rain.
